Palador’s Business Director, Lee Otis met with Jeff Wilke, CEO of Worldwide Consumer for Amazon last Thursday. The special meeting was held with a select group of entrepreneurs to discuss opportunities to partner with Amazon and to learn where Amazon might be expanding. Palador specifically asked how smaller software development firms can adequately compete with Amazon’s hiring practices. Jeff was very forthcoming in expressing Amazon’s concerns for the lack of being able to hire IT resources in the region as well.
