Paladorians making molehills out of mountains!
Tafara Pulse | July 13th, 2017
Our team has been getting outside and making the most of the beautiful Seattle area weather so far this summer, but Lee Otis is taking her adventures to new heights.
Lee and her daughter together summitted Mt. Baker at 10,781 ft. on July 9. They learned technical rescues and skills on Saturday before leaving base camp at 12am Sunday morning to climb to the summit. All together, the climb was 17 miles of technical mountaineering, eight hours up and four hours down.
Lee is using this climb to fundraise for the Washington Trails Association to help maintain Washington’s great trails.
Here’s to more PNW adventures!
